Melody Hamlin is a 1998 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She has spent time teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics to high schoolers before continuing with further higher education.  

Her love of learning led her to further her education with an MBA with a health care emphasis from the University of Phoenix.  She has worked in the health care industry, performed functions in the standardized patient lab at the UMDNJ and taught and tutored countless students successfully through high school sciences and math.  

She has homeschooled her children and currently has one in college and the other working her way through high school.  In her free time, she can be found either running or baking elaborate cakes.
